2013 EZGO TXT PDS braking
I recently bought a refurbed 2013 EZGO TXT PDS and I notice when I go down hills the cart seems to stop at a certain RPM or MPH. I was doing some reading here in some of the other forums and saw that it could be the regen braking system limiting the RPMs. Am I reading this correctly, and if so, is there a way to adjust that or do you have to disconnect it all together? Thanks guys...

Buy a alltrax speed controller. They're programmable, and you can adjust a bunch of settings with your laptop.

Sounds good scottyb. The cart is at the beach house and I wont be there for a couple weekends, so when I go back I will check out the controller and update the thread. Thanks for the help.

Re: 2013 EZGO TXT PDS braking
Unless I am mistaken, the 2013 TXT PDS is the 48 volt TXT and should have the 1510 style controller.
Best advise would be to find out if freedom mode is enabled and not go beyond that. Over revving of the motor will cause a grenade like experience. |

Yeah, it is the 48V system. When I get a chance I will see what style controller is on it.

Re: 2013 EZGO TXT PDS braking
People confuse the TXT48 with the PDS2. Both are 48v push button drive on TXT chassis.
There is an Alltrax for the TXT48 OEM Curtis 1206-5201 but no match for the Curtis 1264,1267, or 1268 |

I thought they only used the 1264/67/68 system on the shuttles?
