Default Brake Light Wiring

Hi Guys,
I just installed the EZGO Brake pedal with switch on my new cart.
Factory pedal assy, paid a bloody fortune for it..
I got it installed with no issues, found the 2 wire harness, plugged in the 2 wires off the pedal into the factory rear harness and I have no brake lights.
I swapped the wires connection wise and still no brake lights.

Am I missing something here ?

The tail lights are dual filament bulbs

Any help would be much appreciated
