Default Stripped armature & gear input shaft

2000 36v TXT PDS Shuttle 2x2

I have a Stripped armature & gear input shaft,

Looking to see what my best options are..

funds are little low so not looking to really upgrade at the moment.. just need to get her going again.

What do you guys suggest is the best route and any suggestion on where to order the parts .?

Can anyone suggest as well a complete replacement kit for the leaf spring ( mine are good need everything else) bushings, bolts, sleeve . shackle plates etc...?

Looks like you need an input shaft assembly and a spline coupler (19 tooth)

Here are links to the parts, but you might be able to find them at a better prices at other places.

Also, the coupler below is for an AMD motor, but your motor doesn't look like an AMD motor and it appears there are two or more different one for different brand motors, so be careful to get the right one for your motor.

I'm not familiar with replacing the spline coupler, but I believe it has to be heated to be removed or installed. It isn't something that I would try, maybe there is a motor rebuild shop in your jungle.

It takes some pretty rough handling to that with a stock motor.
What controller? and how many volts are you running?

Thanks JohnnieB! My mechanic buddy here was asking if the solders on the armature would be damaged by heating up the spine coupler?

From what I can read on the motor I think I see Advanced Motors D.C. Syracuse, NY USA part# 73124G03

ScottyB how are you! 36v I think Curtis stock controller. here is a pic.
Yea eveyone here is surprised that these are the parts that gave out. We are hard on the cart,, stock and rolling over some ruff terrain.. steep inclines, bumpy, muddy, loose gravel. creeks.. etc.. this time we had 4 adults and a kid and we were rolling over a steep little incline and snap! I did notice a month ago that the rear drivers side axle nut was a little loose.. so I checked the wheel..it had not play ... I sinched it then backed it up a bit and put the cotter pin back in. Not sure if that was part of it?

I don't know about the solder joints in the armature being effected by heating the coupler.

I've read post on here about people replacing the coupler, but hopefully somebody that knows will drop in. Or you might get some responses if you started another thread asking about replacing the motor spline coupler in the title.

Curious, what are the make/model and size of the tires you have on the rear of your cart?
Look to be about stock height and appear to have an aggressive tread.

I have a complete rearend assembly just sitting around I'd like to sell it I'll get you some pics tomorrow I'm in Texas not sure how much shipping would be

For some clarification here, Johnnie, how can you tell if he has a 19 or 21 tooth?

I have a western elegante that needs a input shaft gear/bearing, and I don't know how to tell which one i need to order? I see a 19 and also a 21 ( i believe it said 21?). How can we tell?
