Ez go txt brakes grabbing /locking up.

I have the same issue. I have a 2010 EZGO TXT. It has had a lift for probably 4 years. I just checked and the U-bolts are tight. This started after the cart had set for a while. I've been through some medical issues and was unable to use it. My physical ability is limited. Any pictures you have would be greatly appreciated, as I will likely get my son to assist.

Did brakes work ok before cart sat? If soI would check to be sure cable,adjusters are not rusted and moving freely. Also inside of drums are not coated with rust.

I learned this the hard way but any and all adjustments listed in service manual must be followed in steps listed.if not you’ll chase your tail.

My quess is cables and or adjusters are rusted frozen.

Fyi bike and motorcycle shops sell cable lubbers. It clamps around cable where it goes into sheath and has a fitting on it so lube can be squirted into cable.
Can shoot we 40 into it to free up cables. Squirt grafide lube in to maintain cables.
