Default 36 volt DCS F/R switch

I am having issues with the reverse switch. I can manually press each solenoid to get the cart to go in forward/reverse; however, the solenoid for reverse isn't getting pressed enough by the center round pice that rotates with the switch. Can I purchase just the center piece or do I have to purchase a new assembly and who would stock one from the website sponsors? Everything that I have searched for says for NON-DCS carts.

Thanks!

Here is a better diagram for using a DPDT/Center off switch, such as the CC F/R rocker switch.

So just for clarification, is there a specific Club Car F/S switch assembly that I need to order? I do see the wiring diagrams that have been provided, so I assume that it's not a bug deal to change these out...

I appreciate all of the helpful responses

you need is a Club Car DS and Precedent 1996-Up Forward and Reverse Rocker Switch it has all 6 posts on it. I got mine from blockbuster golf cars Inc.

the switch P/N is 4866

you will also need the switch mount....

F & R Rocker Switch Housing Club Car Electric Model Precedent 2004 & Up 003 ( the swicth housings are the same and interchangeable) here is its P/N 5952

these are the P/N's for blockbuster golf car, Inc.

And just for clarification, this wiring diagram is for using the CC switch, which ALREADY has a diode inside it, so NO external diode is required on the DCS implementation of this. Right?

very true.....I talked to johnnie a couple of times in that other thread that cleared that up. by using the CC switch listed above there is no diode required. you only need to connect up the wires that are already there in the diagram.

The early DCS F/R switch had a diode (attachment-1), the later model didn't (attachment-2).

The schematic Scottie post is for using a PDS rocker switch, which is a SPDT and needs a diode to work. If you used a DPDT switch like the CC F/R, no diode is needed.

I have a wiring diagram for using the CC switch to replace an early type DCS F/R switch and will post it if anybody needs it.
