Default Who has an 86 Ezgo gas or similar model

I need to see a picture of your front axle. My axle broke where it was welded to the plates for leaf springs. I know my axle has been modified by PO. I am thinking that it was flipped upside down.

I can easily weld it back together, but I wanted to see how the original axles were fabricated and all connected.

Here is a pic of mine. (not broke, I haven't got around to taking that picture yet)

Ok here ya go, And yes it has been flipped over according to how mine is. If I remember right I also raised mine a bit by stacking two 3/8" spacers between the rear end of the leaf springs and body (2nd pic), Just needed a little lift so the tires would clear while turning

Dabble Inn,

I assume that you leaf spring plates are welded as well to the top of your axle? I had mine rewelded yesterday and we shall see how long it lasts. I will say my kids were driving on some pretty rough terrain the other day when it broke. We had a talk. LOL.

Yes mine are welded, I like how yours is flipped to raise it and I would probably do it the same way if I had the desire to raise mine.
