Default 87 EZ GO Marathon, spark and fuel, not running...

I have good clean plug, gaped with good spark. Fuel pump working fine and no clogged filter. Not getting it to run. Can I get a short bullet list of additional things to check....
Thank you in advance.

Ripped lower diaphragm in fuel pump flooding the crankcase.

Dirty carburetor

Leaking crankshaft seals.

Other air leaks around the cylinder, or head.

Low compression. Should read 120 psi new. 100 is acceptable.

carb and crank seals are usually one and two on the list, to test the seals jack up the cart so it doesn't run away or over you if it starts, and have a buddy hold the pedal down, turning over the engine. While it's turning over, spray some WD40 or starting fluid sparingly into the fan at the front of the motor, then at the rear of the engine between the motor and clutch (directly at the crank) - if the engine pops or tries to start, the seal you are spraying at (either front or rear) is bad.

As to the carb, in the "EZGO Gas Tech" section You'll be able to download a diagram, it's about a 15min job to pull the carb, disassemble and thoroughly clean all the jets, etc.

If it's a bad seal, you would have low(er) compression and your fuel pump wouldn't pump very well. At least that's what I experienced on my 88 marathon rebuild. Is it turning over just fine and just not firing up? And you are getting gas to the carb? Big three are air, fuel and spark. Sounds like you have that. Would pull the carb apart. I went through mine a few times before getting it just right.
