remote gas fuel gauge?
Is there a remote fuel gauge for an 05 txt gas? I've looked for kits and can't seem to find anything.

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
Does the tank have a hole for a sending unit? If so I think most universal sending units and gauges so would. Look for a marine style.

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
Ezgo in the UK supply a sender to fit the tank, and a gauge for the dash. If there is no hole in the top of the tank, you will need to cut one.

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
Does anyone that has a dash gauge and remote sender setup know the wiring for it? I can't seem to find anything in my documentation. I have to imagine its pretty straight forward but don't want to damage the gauge by hooking something up wrong.

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
How close are the txt vs st models? I have a '05 st with a guage I could try to get pics for you. Although not sure I can see back of guage because of the rivets...

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
They are standard fit on the ST series and will fit the TXT, the tank sender unit will also go straight on the TXT tank with a little drilling.
Basically most TXT and ST parts are mostly interchangeable. |

Re: remote gas fuel gauge?
Just installed a generic marine type (for the weather exposure) on a Club Car. Wiring is simple (+), (-) and (S) for sender. I ran the (+) off the switched side of the ignition. Most of the EZGO's I've seen run the ground through the ignition instead so they only "come on" when you're on the gas pedal.
