Can someone tell me what this is?

Just picked this up. Looks like 2 stoke. Where would the id tag be? What kind of motor? Any other info or threads I should look at? Thanks.

I don’t right now. It I can tomorrow. Pretty sure it’s an ezgo. The frame and some of the other parts look like my other ezgo but I think it’s older. I can’t find any identification.

That is a 1988 Ezgo Marathon. And the ser no# and manuf code tag should be found here.

To elaborate, it's definitely a 1988 Marathon with the 2pg 2 stroke. It produces 11 horsepower with the BV-24 carburetor, and the high performance exhaust. Your driven clutch is wiped out.

By the looks of it, your muffler is worth more than the entire cart.

Oh boy, so it’s a big undertaking? Funny because I’m looking to redo a 2 stroke dirtbike too.

It depends on how far you wanna go. Just from what I see I'm thinking a couple thousand to make it be okay. the skys the limit but this one looks like a very very big job

I’ve rebuilt worse
Start by getting it to turn over see if their is any compression and go from their
