Default Hi guys

I have a conundrum
I have a switch on my Marathon Ezgo thats not connected to anything
The negative cable from the battery goes to it then goes nowhere
See pics
It's the red key switch
Any ideas

Maybe it was a hidden kill switch. I couldn't zoom for a better look.

The key pushes down and turns to the left but it is connected to nothing

Looks like a battery disconnect switch.
If it was connected to bat- then it would have been connected to main ground on the other side at some point.

Found them the switch was not working thats why it was not connected
