Default Charging Batteries

Going to install a battery meter on my cart to observe voltage. What is considered low voltage and in danger of being stranded?

There is a chart on the carts unlimited .net site that is helpful. I cant add a link in this reply since I am a new member on 7 day probation period. But depending on your cart voltage he has a chart that gives you a battery percentage based on your packs voltage level that is helpful.

You try not to run your DoD below 50% unless necessary. Now this would be static or no load and sitting for a few minutes. Under load you would be getting a lower reading.

Each half volt drop from 51 volts would equal a 10% drop in charge. So at 48.5 volts you need to be headed to the charger. I've observed that my battery recovery time is one minute. So sitting still for one minute will give you a stable enough reading to determine your SOC.
