Potentiometer question
1990 ezgo 36 volt.Cart takes off very slow.Sometimes I have to push it .After take off it runs fine till you stop.Took pot wires off controller and get no reading with ohm meter. With wires hooked to controller it reads from 0 to 5280 at full throttle. Is this normal?New f& r switch ,solenoid, and pot and batteries. Thanks

Re: Potentiometer question
Sounds like maybe the motor brushes loosing contact at a certain spot on the armature. Maybe some new brushes and an armature clean up will solve the issue.
I had one like this you only had to push it a foot and then it would be on a 'better' spot and go |
