Default Help with Speed Upgrade - 2015 EZ-GO TXT

Hi...I'm new to this board and hoping you guys can help (and based on what I've read it looks like I finally found the right place).

I bought from a local guy in CT who is refurbing carts off of local courses what I believe is a 2015 EZ-GO TXT 48V (Model No, 625110G01 - Date Code M0115). The cart ran great all season, but slow compared to other carts in the neighborhood. I measured it at about 12mph with an iphone app. The cart has 6 8V Trojan batteries which I beleive are only a few years old. The cart has a back seat and club holder, but I believe otherwise is basically stock. I am not sure what controller the cart has, but it sounds from what I read here that may drive next steps. Can anyone provide guidance/next steps? I don't need anything super fast, but 5-6 more mph would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Should be a 48 volt pds cart. Look under the seat on the passenger side for a run tow switch on a black box. If yes you need to get someone with a developer mode computer or a freedom dongle and a OEM handset to turn it up to 19.5.

It does have a run/tow switch box. Image included below. I thought if it was a "PDS" cart the F/N/R switch would be on the dash, but mine is under the seat.

Thanks

Okay my bad. It is a 48 volt txt. I always think of the sepex carts as PDS. My original answer is still the same.

Curtis yes. 48txt can be tweaked a little but the rxv is the one with the most potential.

On stock wheels and tires low 20s and a little more torque. Rxv can get to high 20s with a bunch more torque. AC motor has much more umph. Have to have developer equipment to do it. Where are you located?
