Unhappy 2010 Gas RXV engine runs but cart will not move

New here, but I have a 2010 gas RXV. I was driving it on Saturday when it started making an odd clicking noise. I wanted to get it back to my spot and turned around when all of a sudden it locked up completely. I put it in reverse and it worked for about 10 seconds and then locked up there too. If in neutral it moves freely with no issues. I looked inside at the clutch and found the drive clutch somewhat locked up, but after finally getting it free the cart moved again for a short time and is now locked up hard. The driven clutch cannot be spun at all. I've seen a couple of different posts about hubs or clutch issues, but wanted to see if anyone had some recommendations on where to start. Thanks in advance.

You’re gonna have to jack up the rear end and see what turns and what doesn’t. You may want to remove the drive belt to do it. Sounds to me like you may have a transaxle issue but I’d quit locking it up under power until I found out

Removing the drive belt before putting it on the jack stands is a good idea. I was present where someone didn't and it almost ended badly.
