Amperage draw down

The following specs (taken from the Battery Comparison Sticky) show the number of minutes at different amp draws. How do I determine the amp draw of my cart?
T-105, 447 Min @25Amps, 115 Min @75Amps, 225Ah @20Amps, 62 Lbs;
T-125, 488 Min @25Amps, 132 Min @75Amps, 240Ah @20Amps, 66 Lbs;
T-145, 530 Min @25Amps, 145 Min @75Amps, 260AH @20Amps, 72 Lbs

Those battery specs are tricky sometimes.... everyone changing the test to get the results they want......If you are looking for info to help you determine the proper usage of your battery pack, refer to this chart and use the 50% draw down rule

To answer your question, you determine the actual amp draw of your cart by measuring it with a DC ampmeter, something none of us actually own. The numbers you provided are for comparing the batteries to each other. Your cart is the constant in the equation.

A DC amp meter with a scale high enough to read ( OVER 250 ) and should be available from electronic supply houses but be ready to pay through the nose for them. While in the service during the Korean war we had meters heavy enough to cover the range up to 1000 AMPS. Maybe there are still some around from surplus stores that can be picked up for a song?

The Trojan battery co. ( which is the industry leader in GC batteries) says do not draw the pack down below 50% capacity. Armed with this chart and a simple voltmeter you can determine when 50% occurs and extend the life of your pack by recharging at or before 50%.... all battery readings for full charge are taken 1 hr after charger shuts off... hope this helps?

To get the most out of your batteries...... Install a voltmeter and calculate it with your handheld to verify where 50% is at.

If a golf cart repair shop marks your repair ticket with: "92 amp drawdown. Batteries are good." What does this mean, other than their phrase "batteries are good"?
