Default no power up hill

Good afternoon, I run 2011 EZgo Gas, Kawasaki motor. I have lost all my power going up hill. I never loose RPM's. Only Horse Power.

I resently had a local shop check the compression on cylinder and they said it was in spec. I have ordered a cylinder gauge to check it my self.

It runs great and normal on flat surface. So I did some looking around and noticed something, I removed seat and drove cart up against the house to impliment hill climb. HAHA I did notice clutch ingauges but slipped on the belt. I wish I had a hill to try cause im not sure the house was a great test.

Question would be, should the clutch have more tention on belt then that, is there a way to increase the tention on belt.

In Neutral at high RPM, it ingauges fully and open and closes well, seems to be moving freely

Belt is new

It sounds like your driven clutch is bad. Try removing the drive belt and see how much resistance you get when you grab one side of belt groove with you left hand and same with right hand. Twist it.

It should have plenty of resistance, meaning sort of hard to spin it when you do this test. I am not good at explaining so I hope you understand what I mean.

I will add a picture.

The red arrows is where you would grab it and twist in different direction. Also known as secondary clutch.
