Default Input Shaft Part Help! JR6-G6320-01-00 SHAFT, INPUT ASSY

So I ordered the g14-g22 replacement shaft for my Yamaha Pro Hauler with a G21A engine. When the new shaft arrived It wouldn't install correctly with the existing gear placement.

After a closer inspection the, part I recieved wasn't a match. The rear gear on the shaft is larger and won't allow the F gear to be installed. I have been all over the net looking for JR6-G6320-01-00 SHAFT, INPUT ASSY and can't find it. It says the part is discontinued.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bear in mind I've been retired for a while from the Yamaha golf car gig. As I remember/ recall, if you are trying to use a JN3 input shaft into a JR6 transaxle, you will need a JN3-G6326-00-00 forward gear for it to work. Forward will be faster because the input shaft and forward gear where desighned for lower speeds in the utility vehicles. Hope that's right and helps you get your ride going again

You said just what I was thinking. And getting the correct one is probably impossible (but might want to try don plowman, he has TONS of oddball OEM stuff).

Okay so if I order the JN3-G6326-00-00 F Gear/Gear 1 I should be able to use the existing input shaft JN3-G6320-01-KT I purchased. Should I call Plowmans for verification this will work or to see if he has my original JR6 input shaft?

Man just that gear is 230 to 260 bucks...jeeze.
