1981 Ez Go keeps running with foot off pedal
Here is my 1981 2 cycle. Runs super other than you have to pull up on pedal a bit to stop it from cranking when foot is off gas pedal. Runs well from slow to fast. No backfire. Should I back off plate to microswitch?
This was a "Free" cart. Less than $100.00 in it and 60.00 was a battery! Got 21 mph with some pedal left. Now it's run very casually as I want it to last. |

under your drivers seat on inside wall is a box with a 10 mm nut. take the cap off and there is a micro switch that has a adjustment that makes it kill engine. look at the adjustment rthat makes the micro switch activate and adjust it .

Do you mean the metal plate (half moon) connected to a rod from pedal? Wont see cart till Saturday. Thanks in advance for your response.
