EZGO Marathon Year Identification
How do I determine the year of my EZGO Marathon? I thought I had a newer model but when I see the starter generator on mine I know it is older.

Pax side under cubby hole by your feet should be a plate with model and serial number on it...last two numbers of model number is year of cart

I'd say 1980, there should be another tag on the engine under the starter. The first two numbers after 'Model No.' will be the engine date

That's the one that was built just after 980243 and just before 980245. Great little machine.
