2015 Drive not moving
The cart has not been holding a charge for a decent amount of time, and getting worse. (And the cart would ‘die’ when the battery meter had dropped 2 or 3 bars). Then, while driving, it would suddenly stop. Toggling the tow/run switch would get it going again. Now, it won’t move at all.
After it stopped altogether: Was not hearing a ‘click’ when toggling the tow/run switch, so Bypassed the solenoid and verified the controller is getting 48v. Batteries are fully charged and at 48v+. Depressing ‘gas’ pedal, nothing happens…no clicks, no sounds, no movement. The back-up buzzer does not work (it was unplugged but plugged it back in and tested the fed/reverse switch…no buzzer in reverse). Is there a way to verify if it is the controller? Or, other ideas? |

Re: 2015 Drive not moving
First i'd start with the batteries... 48v is too low, fully charged they should have 51-52v
Check the voltage of each single battery! |

Re: 2015 Drive not moving
Is there enough distilled water in the batteries? How old are the batteries?

Ok, will verify each battery. They are 5-6 years old.

Re: 2015 Drive not moving
53V after fully charged. No change on the rest.
Solenoid not clicking, but when bypassing it (connecting both positive wires to the same terminal), voltage is getting to the controller. Removed the throttle switch, and resistance changes as the throttle is depressed (switch is turned). In run mode, the cart is easily pushed (no resistance). Any further input would be appreciated! |

Re: 2015 Drive not moving
Trace out the run/tow to key switch to controller circuit and make sure that battery voltage is getting to the controller when the key is on. There is a 3 amp fuse in that circuit.

Re: 2015 Drive not moving
Full battery voltage is getting to the controller, both when the key is on, and when it is off.
Turning the key off does make the battery gage light ‘go dark,’ but does not affect the voltage going to the controller. |
