Re: increase torque/speed on 2cyl/4cycle
I went from not being able to go up my pond *** at wide open to crawling up it at half throttle with 1inch shorter belt. even stopping halfway up and taking off from there. word to the wise with a long steep incline you can pull the front end up. even with no one in back seat. and i didn't really lose top end that i can tell. i haven't gps ed it before the belt change or after. 06 txt stock 295

Re: increase torque/speed on 2cyl/4cycle
http://www.cartpartsplus.com/ez-go-power-kit.html $45
http://www.rainbowcustomcars.com/pro...ke_System.html $45 http://www.cartpartsplus.com/ez-go-carb-jet-kit.html $18 That puts you $8 over budget. If you don't go with a shorter belt, at least a new belt might do you some good depending on how worn out the old one is. I did all these at once (along with custom exhaust and a shorter belt) so I couldn't tell you which was better. I would recommend some pre-filters if you plan on going in dry dirt or sand with that filter. |

Re: increase torque/speed on 2cyl/4cycle
just tweak the govenor up to about 4,000 rpm's that will give you more top end, depending on the motor may cost you time to adjust or maybe a new spring, but vey low cost, some engines you can drill a new hole a little closer to the govenor shaft coming from the engine if there are not more there,

Re: increase torque/speed on 2cyl/4cycle
Yo. I did the belt, the high tension spring for the carb, and the jet carb kit. Nice! Thanks.

Re: increase torque/speed on 2cyl/4cycle
I did this exact list and it worked like a charm! My 5th grader had a big green while ripping the ezgo limo thru a subdivision.
