Re: 2004 48V DS Golf Electric Charge Problems
When you do a bypass next time have the charger connected to the cart. Watch the amp meter and see what happens. If the cart is now being charged then you can assume there is something wrong with the OBC or the gray lead with a fuse on your cart plug. Remember that the charger will NOT shut off when you have it bypassed so be extremely cautious of the amount of time you have it connected to your cart in that condition. If it is your OBC then I'm sure someone in this thread can direct you to the best place to purchase one

Re: 2004 48V DS Golf Electric Charge Problems
I tried to bypass again and the amp meter did no move, but the charger does humm.
I also tried the OBC reset. When the reset says the backup buzzer will beep for 30 second, if this does not happen, is this another sign of a bad OBC? The buzzer does work when I drive the cart in reverse. |

Re: 2004 48V DS Golf Electric Charge Problems
I went ahead and ordered a new OBC from TSA today.
I figure I should at least start with a new OBC. Thank you for all of your help. |
