I would be interested in hearing them too. Gonna be buying a cart soon and I've been wondering if I should buy new, or look for something a few years old with the Robin engine. Let's here 'em, guys.

The con is that there is not a whole lot of aftermarket performance parts for the engine. I have also been told these engines are non-rebuildable. I have not verified that, just what I have been told by my local eng builder. It may be that they are 2 new for rebuild parts.

The pro is that it has a pressureized oil system. which in turns will make the engine last longer. 13hp over 9/11 hp. they seem to run better to me.

I have yet to see any issues with them. But time will tell.

Alot more climbing/pulling power as well top speed over the 9/11 hp but, Not nearly as smooth or quiet. I have beat mine like a rented mule since I bought it and I have no complaints.

I am watching this thread also, as I just picked up a new cart with this engine and didn't get squat of info with it.

I have no complaints, power wise. It does vibrate some at certain speeds, but all in all, it seems to be a brute! :)

We ran 1 1/2 tanks of gas through Cartzilla while we vacationed. No oil used at all. I think this engine rocks!! It has a cool sound also...
