Yes that is where the number came from.
so I guess we will call it a 1988.
Thanks to all that helped now I know the year if I need to get parts.

If you look at that plate there are 2 numbers The top one say serial number the one under it will say MANUR CODE
the number under that will tell the year by the last 2 digits. Like mine say K1588 meens it's an 88

This is a picture of the plate on my 88, last 2 numbers denote year on the bottom number

1988 to at least 1996 will all look the same

Thank you guys for the information on the year of my Golf Cart.
I believe that you are right it is a 1988.I just am wondering why my ID tag
doesn't look like the one that rokcrlr posted. instead of the numbers being on top of each other mine are side by side and I checked they are 81K21 in the first box then 242800 in the box to the right of it.
It not an issue I am just curious.
If you double click on the picture you can kinda see the tag and you will see what I am talking about.

I looked up the #s on your last post and they come back invalid. Check your #s again just to make sure you have them right.

Yes I checked them 3 times and they are correct.also on my tag the numbers are side by side not one above the other. It is a mystery to me.

IT is covered with a tarp that is covered with snow but I will get a picture of the tag in the morning.
