how do i go faster club car 48
i have a 1995 48 volts club car with a 13 hp electric motor small size aftermarket tires , what do i do next to go faster cart goes 28 mph

i know it is faster than stock but i want to go even faster and i will be upgrading brake soon

HAve you done any upgrades to the amperage delivery system to the motor? Controller? Solenoid? Cables? F&R? ...any of that? All of that needs to be upgraded eventually. Most of it will just keep the motor from destroying the stock components with it's higher amp draw... speed wise ... add taller tires and/or taller gears.

your not gonna get much more from a 48 volt cart that already is pushing 30 mph...........you can up the voltage to 72 volts if your ready to put the money in it..................fastest elec. cart i have ever seen was 51 mph but it was 128 volts i beleive....................................

did all the wire and switch upgrade just see people talking about 41 mph , will spend money if upgrading to 72 volts get me into the 40s

You drag racing this thing? What on earth could you possible need to go 40mph in a golf cart for? Lol. I would think that if i went 40mph in my cart, nuts and bolts would start fallling off! As previously stated, definately upgrade the brakes on that bad boy, and possibly a roll cage, dual airbags, side airbags, and emt on speed dial!
