Amps = torque. You cant "trick" 230 amps into being 350 amps. Also cant "trick" a toyota corolla into being a competent rock crawler without changing some parts. Top speed will be the same, if you get "freedom mode" unlocked (its not unlocked on the new controller "as delivered from ezgo"). That all depends if your cart was originally a 19mph cart from the factory (not including your new larger tires, which increase speed while reducing torque).

Gotcha, was just about to pm you. So just so I'm clearly understanding this all: the way to get everything out of this cart is to without swapping out drive system is to: 1- buy new 350 amp controller. 2- take cart with said controller to dealer and have freedom mode enabled. 3- buy Curtis 1311/1313-4401 and tune it. 4- maybe some gears if desired after steps 1-3.

Getting freedom mode won't be an issue for me, coworker is auth dealer.
