Battery Meter
I am ready to order my battery meter from ScottyB. Now my question is, do I get the digital, and hope I can teach my wife how to read it? and she actually does it, or do I just use the gage type for easier reading by her???

Re: Battery Meter
Does she use a push button phone or a rotary dial?
Get the digital and tel her the cart must be plugged in before it read 36. for a 36v cart or 48. for a 48v cart....... it doesn't get too much easier than this. LOL |

Re: Battery Meter
Go digital and then make a card that sits next to it. I color coded it so it would be dead simple for my daughter when she rides.

Re: Battery Meter
Thanks. It's just an excel file I made quick and scaled to fit the t-holder area. It's on my work computer, I'll attach it Monday.

Re: Battery Meter
Attached is the excel file with scaled SOC chart to fit the tee holder area. I "laminated" mine with some packing tape and then used double side tape to just stick it on the dash.
I tried to just pdf the xls file but the scaling changed slightly so I had to zip the xls file and leave it in it's native format. |

Re: Battery Meter
Here is a pic of my Scottyb meter on my PDS. I added a rocker switch to turn the meter on and off. I did a chart similar to the one above and mounted it on the tee holder area. Attached is the MS Word file the the SOC chart. I laminated it front and back and sealed the edges. It sat out in the sun all of last summer with no fading.
