That may be possible but if it was mine I wouldn't trust that reversed battery because I don't know the consequences of polarity reversal of a lead acid battery. I've experienced this with nicad packs and the reversed nicad cells are not happy when this happens. RAY

I've never seen that one before !! Hmmm, I wonder if that is a polarity warning or a capacity warning (small guy with large guy). RAY

Either way, they tell us we need to wear safety goggles and read the instruction manual. The "i" on the instruction manual could be instructions, or internet.

Thanks alot everyone. I am hoping they will warranty the battery.

The odd part is it was the first battery in the series. The positive from the motor, charger, and key switch all go to the positive post. So even if it had been run down completely dead I dont see how it would have reversed polarity?

Ahh well we shall see.

In a series battery pack, location really doesn't matter. During charging and discharging, voltage drop across each battery is about the same, and amperage is the same.

Yep, i stepped right into that one. That's normal battery operation at michael jacksons house. Reverse polarity and low self esteem...

Trojan shows a big male chasing and holding hands with a smaller male (child?). Trojan says this is a "NO", with the international symbol.

If they wanted to say "no children", seems like they'd say it's OK to grab a child, rather than say "NO".
