Default plug in charger and batteries arent charging

Hello. have had no problems for 3-4 months with new trojan batteries in cart.
Cart sat for almost a month and decided to go golfing. I only used the cart for 9 holes and noticed battery indicator was around 1/4. parked cart played nine more holes and drove my cart home. got home and plugged my cart in. charger seemed like it was charging as normal. Went out to cart next day and unplugged the charger turned the key on and the battery indicator was blinking. tried to charge 3 more times and same problem. When I plug in the charger even though it voltage gauge shows its charging the battery indicator on the cart continues to blink. Ugh. Any ideas what to do. cart is 48 volts. Thanks

Measure the pack voltage and report it back here.

Sounds like you had enough power to get home and all, maybe the battery indicator is going south? What are the battery readings?

2 batteries are at 8.4 and 4 batteries 8.3. Total is 51.4 for the 48 volt system. According to the chart the batteries show good to go. Wondering if the idiot light is malfunctioning. Not sure. Will check further tomorrow when I get home from work.

the absolute best thing you could do is to get rid of the "idiot light" meter and get a Digital Meter from carts unlimited

Unplugged "idiot light" plugged it back in. Good to go. Weird.
