ok i found the part i need
I have seen speed resister on the internet but they seem to be in different ranges as in 1st speed it is 9 gauge
2nd speed is 7 gauge 3rd speed is 6 gauge So do I need all the to put it back together or can I buy the complete 3 coil assy.and why different wire gauges.and what is the best to buy? |

If you are gonna do one, might as well make all of them good. Why replace only one rusty crusty one, just to do another one next month (trust me, those bolts aint gonna come apart easy). The reason for 3 different size coils- each bigger size lets more power through, to let you go a little faster, the last step on throttle "wiper board" bypasses all of the resistors, sending full power.
