Default Ezgo pads with Alltrax 400 controller bucking at full throttle

Good afternoon. I have a question that I'm hoping you can help us with. We have an ezgo cart with the above controller on it. Its the model DCX400R19 by Alltrax. It's been working great till just recently. The cart seems to drive just fine until you go full throttle. At that point it "bucks" and you can hear the solenoid clicking on and off rapidly. The cart has new batteries and cables. The problem was occurring with the old batteries and cables as well. Do you have any ideas what to check and procedures? The controller programming has never been touched either.
Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide.

I would consult with Alltrax. They have good customer support.

It's most likely a battery problem. Full throttle calling for max amp flow and solenoid dropping in and out sounds like a battery problem. Do not let this continue. It will damage the solenoid and It may break an axle, suspension perch, or strip a rear hub. Take a battery voltage reading at a standstill and then at wide open throttle while the cart is bucking. Post those two readings here.

Yea, battery or one or more cables too small and causing the voltage to drop too much at max current.
