Default Quick Question re: steering wheel replacement

Anyone know what size socket I need to remove a CCP scorecard plate from the steering wheel? I had read it required a phillips screwdriver, but apparently not. None of my sockets fit in the recessed hole and I don't want to buy several to figure it out. Thanks!

The 4 in one screwdriver that Harbor Freight sells . One end is 1/4” an one end is 5/16” that is with the screw driver end removed. I think it was the 5/16 that would go into the hole of the steering wheel. That is how I removed mine. 5/16 1/4 drive has to thick of a wall . Like you said won’t go into the hole we’re bolt is.

Did you look at the back of the wheel to see what type of fastener holds it on? Much faster solution than waiting on a forum response.

I ran into the same issue. I took a dremel tool and cut the hole out larger so my standard size sockets would fit.
