Default Buzzer Quit Working

My Backup Buzzer stopped working. I was at Ocean Lakes over the weekend and when I backed it off the trailer it worked. Later it worked a few more times, then the last time it started to work and slowly died and has not worked since. I want it to work unlike some I have seen not wanting it to work. I think it is a needed safety feature. I did a little checking last night after we had unloaded and it was tucked away in the garage. I had the key switch on and cart in reverse and checked for voltage on the orange wire and the red wire nothing there. I did this by touching the the wire and a negative post on a battery. Didn't do much else, any advise on where and how to trouble shoot this issue. It is a 2002 CC 48v DS with a handle that flops left and right for F/R, I think that is series?

I believe these are controlled by a micro switch that is on the actual F/R switch, you may need to replace the micro switch. If you have a volt meter you can test the switch for continuity to verify if it's working.

Ok switch tested good....took wires off buzzer and tested there got 48 volts ( don't know why I didn't get a reading before, must have been brain dead from labor day holiday ) guess I need a new buzzer....tried it connecting it across the battery pack and no sound.

Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know of a sponsor that sells the buzzer I need?? I found one on EBAY for 18.00 shipped. I'd like to use a site sponsor if the price is reasonable.

Do some shopping. I just picked up a new one on ebay for $11.00 shipped. These things are pretty universal. You just need one for 48 volts. If I can find where I got mine I will PM you with the link.
