Battery Well Reinforcements
The battery compartment of my 1997 CC DS has been substantially weakened. Looks like acid damage. Are replacements, perhaps bolt-on aluminum trays, available? Seems like a pretty common problem but I do not see any online solutions. Pastic drip trays will not do, as I am looking to add strength back into the rack. The thick metal is fine. The issue is with the thinner metal used to hold the batteries.

No, they don't have bolt in trays. If you want it reinforced you will have to do it yourself. The trays are welded/part of the frame.
