Re: Need some advice on a 36v to 48v conversion
The hijack is the problem ..... we started talking about Tg's cart which was a solid state cart and And Dougs advice was correct but, then the other cart chimed in & it prolly was not a controller cart?... although we never did know for sure..... Hopefully he will start his own thread and we can discuss his cart there

Re: Need some advice on a 36v to 48v conversion
Ha thanks for the help guys! I'm adding two six volts this week and I'll let you know how it goes. I'm making the switch before going to a new motor I just put my 23" tires on and it still runs pretty strong.

Re: Need some advice on a 36v to 48v conversion
Ok, so I picked up a blem Deca 6v and a blem Interstate 6v yesterday for $40 each and then went to batteries plus and picked up two golf cart battery enclosures. I mounted them behind the seatbacks on the club cart ( I still want to use the bagwell to hold clubs when I actually play golf ). The boxes fit perfectly, but I'm going to have to modify the molded tops to fit. I've got a new solenoid and 4ga wires coming today. I'll let you guys know how much of a difference it makes.
I put new wheels, tires, fender flares, and a tinted windshield on last weekend. The 23'' tires didn't affect the torque that much - which was surprising. I'm looking foward to the difference 48v makes! |
