Precedent noisey steering
I bought an 06' precedent along with the lift kit, tires, wheels and a back seat. I spent most of a Saturday installing the Jakes kit and seat. After, everything was completed I noticed a lot of rattling coming from the front end whenever I took it off roading. It seems as though there is a good bit of play inside of the black boot on the tie rod. Is there any way to adjust this or do I need to start replacing parts?

Re: Precedent noisey steering
I'm guessing that the inner tie rods may be worn out.

Re: Precedent noisey steering
It's to my understanding that the bushings on the Delta A-plates wear out rather quickly on the 04/05 and 06 Precedents,
If it "clunks" badly while going over bumps, that would be the first thing I would look at! |

Re: Precedent noisey steering
Great! Thanks for your response. I ordered a bushing kit for the front end the other day, so I'll try that first.
