In line fuse for battery meter?
I am going to install a battery meter I ordered on ebay in the dash of my 06 Precedent. The meter came only with the mounting hardware. Would it be a good idea to add an in line fuse between the meter and battery? If so, what amp fuse would be best?

I don't believe it is needed, but if it makes you feel better use a 1 amp fuse. The meter has no draw to speak of, so may as well go small on the fuse.

Re: In line fuse for battery meter?
Many thanks, GORNOMAN! I noticed from a previous thread that I am to tap into the hot terminal of the key switch with one wire. Then I am to run a second wire from the other terminal of the meter to the main pack NEGATIVE terminal in the battery back. Exactly which terminal is the "main pack NEGATIVE terminal in the battery pack" on my 06 Precedent?

Re: In line fuse for battery meter?
Gary, I have no time on a Precedent, so I cannot say for sure, but if you have a multimeter and know how to use it you can find it pretty easy. Follow the wires from the charge receptacle, they probably lead to the Mains of the battery pack. One is positive, one is negative.
