whats a pot box im completely dumb to carts does a potbox and controller do away with the resistor coils

A pot box is a potentiometer which is a speed indicating device or a throttle peddle indication device. It can replace the Vglide or any other throttle position device. ... and the controller is a solid state speed controller. When used in conjunction with the potentiometer it will replace the resistor coils and do the job of speed control. Essentially it is a valve from the battery pack to the motor, which is why there are different sizes and costs available Now you won't find that explanation in your funknwagner

i found a pb-6 pot box and a 400A alltrax controller for a little less than 500 dollars. will a 400A controller be big enough and does the price sound like a pretty good deal.thanks everyone 4 the thusfar
