ok found the problem. the slide is held in with a bolt and nut. on the nut side the plate was scarred and the slide was not centering the brakes properly. boy i checked and checked all of what i had done but never thought that piece of steel would have been holding it out. they seemed to slide the same when i checked but guess i should have look a little closer at those. a little sanding and bango presto no more drag. i guess i was half right cause the one side was ok live and learn. thanks for all the help.keep on sparkin if you gottem
