Acceleration Problem
Ok i have another thread relating to this one
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...t-im-lost.html However i have semi cured the problem by adjusting the rod ends. So whats happening is in forward position when i press the accelerator pedal down there's no slow speed take off just fast, there's no change in speed even when you push the pedal further. Then when in reverse the pedal is nearly touching the floor, again there's no slow speed take off just fast. Thanx |

Re: Acceleration Problem
Have you taken the cover off of the V-glide and with the KEY OFF verified the correct direction and travel of the wiper arm?

Re: Acceleration Problem
The arm will lay parallel to the cart frame at rest and move to 90 degrees or 12 o'clock at full throttle ....

Re: Acceleration Problem
Ok
unhooked the rod from the pot, pushed the wiper arm all the way up, however even at its furthest adjustment limit (the ball joints on either end of the rod) it wont reach the pot joint even when the pedal is completely pressed down. So i adjusted it out as much as possible. So now when you press the pedal down you hear the click and immediately the motor runs very fast. Then when you put your foot even further down after about i would say half way the motor slows down to about 1/4 of its speed. In reverse when you put the pedal down you hear the click and nothing happens until at about 3/4 the motor runs very fast. Last edited by Gorhad; 01-28-2010 at 01:22 PM.. Reason: adding pic |
