THANKS to Scubabud (turn sig mount)

In another post, I noticed Scubabud mentioned having turn signals mounted on the steering column, and the posibility of that causing electrical problems.

Mine was mounted that way and there was a small amout of voltage between the negative battery and the frame.

Fixed by putting a piece of rubber inner tube around the column and gluing it with 3M weather strip adhesive, and then black duct tape. Carpe duct 'em - seize the duct tape!

That's what is so great about BGW. One man's problem can turn into a fix for many down the road. I found my grounding issue, the turn signal assembly attached to the column, by trial and error. I used black tape and rubber tubing on the clamp just like you to correct that ground issue and all is well.
