ccds dropped off trailer
coming back from putting in new batteries and tie down strap broke and cart came off back of trailer. Dropped bout 2 feet and rolled upright off highway.
two batteries jard out of holder...turned on key, put in reverse and wire from top of motor to FW switch burned off at switch. Any ideas? I am in tears as i had saved for 5 months to get the new batts. it is 78 miles to nearest cart shop. thanks, Preacher |

Re: ccds dropped off trailer
Preacher, sorry to hear this. Good nylon ratchet straps are cheep compared to loosing the cart.
Check all the wiring under the cart. Sounds like a direct short to me. But what do I know. Look for any loose or hanging wires. You may have rip'd one loose when it left the trailer. 2 foot drop is fairly good drop of the edge of something, good chance something caught and now requires some extra attention. Also check for something driven up into a wiring connection or the F/R switch. Just my 2 cents worth but I would start with check it over real close underneath. Good luck keep us posted. |

The Good lord was looking after your golf cart when it hit the pavement at what 50-60mph? If it was mine, with my sinning ways, .... it would have rolled 6 times |

Youre also blessed that your cart didnt hit another car and kill someone!
Could have been much worse. |
