Re: New Batteries and cables, now issues.
Scotty, the CC dealer down here will sell to service repair shops for at least 10% off retail, he just won't sell for less to a retail customer like myself. Can't you purchase from them directly in CA with a discount?

I paid $165 for the last one I bought plus shipping? 10%!? ...who can operate a business on a 10% profit margin? Not even walmart can do that

I'm saying that if a CC dealer can sell it to you over the counter for $155 without a discount or $140 with a discount, then why give the parts supplier $165 plus shipping? |

Re: New Batteries and cables, now issues.
If you're referring to knowing anything about the retail/wholesale business, I can assure you I'm very well versed, past and present. I asked a simply question, why pay someone $165 wholesale when you could purchase that same product for $25 less or $140 which increases your retail profit by $25 out of the gate, simple math... I'm not asking for you to run your business on a 10% margin, I'm mentioning the fact that you can increase, at least on this one instance, a profit of 18% on that one part, ($140 x 1.18=$165.20,) by changing your parts supplier.
