So, do I have it correct that you have 2 motors presently? A stock motor (for sale) and a rebuild (now on cart). Assuming that is correct, my last post was suggesting that if no motor was sent in to obtain the rebuilt motor the company might credit you if you send in the stock motor as the core for the rebuild you already have. If you're just going to just sell a stock motor, and it is an 83, I'd hazard a value between $75 and 100, depending on how motivated the buyer is. With it being that old, I'd be leaning toward $75.

Hope this helps. You didn't say how long you've had the rebuilt motor, so if I'm off base here, my apologies.

no, what he is saying is that he had 2 motors, he sent 1 off and had it rebuilt and when it came back he put it on his cart (no core needed because they rebuilt his motor). Now he has a spare stock motor that he would like to sell.

I still contend that a motor made in '83, unless it has been rebuilt somewhere along the lines, isn't worth the cost of the freight to mail it. You are going to be better off finding a local buyer in my opinion.

No need to apologize ill lay it all out . I have my cart witch I was riding . This Is the motor for sale. I had another cart with a burned up motor I sent out the burnt motor and had it rewound. Now motor 2 is being rewound and I'm still having fun with motor 1. Motor 2 is now at my house shiney and new. I take motor 1 out now for sale and put my rewound in . I think I might keep it as a spare for now if I can only get that much for it

well a rewound '83 motor should bring you a little more $$ Not sure who you had do the rewind, but if it was done by either EMP or PQ, figure it's worth at least $150 or so.

Please post the specs ( HP and RPM, Torque or speed, spline) for the rewound motor you have for sale and who performed the rewind. Thank you.
