Ok not sure what it is called it`a black box with 4 lugs coming out the top and a solenoid on the front.
I think the Forward & Reverse switch is mounted across from this toward the dash.

you have the original speed controller. They had 4 lugs on the top. The 4th lug went to the A2 (via the F&R switch) to allow for "plug braking". The newer carts eliminate the "plug braking" so only require 3 lugs on top of the controller.

Ok I replaced solenoid, resistor, and diode. still no go! I`m thinking maybe something to do with the pedal box now, guess I`ll trace down the wires to it and make sure they are right, first and go from there.
Oh, also when I first connect the ground to battery pack I get a pretty good arc and then seems to be ok. Is this normal,or maybe caused by short or wire in the wrong spot?
Any help or suggestions very much appreciated, Very new to working on these.
Thanks

Alright, got her going. 4 pin connector between pedal and speed controller was faulty. Took a while but found it and replaced with terminals I had. Need to get a micro switch for reverse and I think I`m good to go.

Thanks for the help guys.

I have a broken leaf spring too, not sure how I`m going to fix it. Don`t have a lot to spend on it right now. Anyway Thanks!!
