Yes they do IF they are a stock cart on a golf course, NOT a lifted cart with bigger tires out in the woods

ok so can you tellme in your opinion what is bad about buying a 1998 series txt cart, that has good batteries in it and is in great condition? WHY wouldnt you buy it in your opninon?

I'm not following you, who told you not to buy a TXT series cart????, This is the cart that we have been telling you to buy

No...ok i found a 1998 series txt cart in great condition with fairly new batteries in it. some people say to stay away from that year model for som reason..what do you think?

I don't think anyone on this site has told you not to buy a txt series cart. READ the replies to your question and you will see exactly the opposite. That looks like a decent deal depending on the age of the batteries.

I think you should ignore those people. Nothing wrong with a '98 TXT Series cart. The batteries in that cart are Trojans, and will have a date code stamped into the negative terminal of each battery. Ask the seller for all 6 codes and we can determine how old they are. Great starting point for a buildup.

Thanks man. People wer saying that the steering sucked in the older models? Ill ask him to get those codes for me.
