Default 1999 CC DS Powerdrive on board compter (OBC)

I know that the OBC for the powerdrive CC's act to tell the charger when to shut off. However, ifI wanted to buy a charger that is automatic, could I simply by-pass the OBC, or does it do different things also. I am refurbing a 1999 DS regen 2, and do not want to buy a new OBC, as I would rather just buy an automatic charger.

Does anyone know how I have just bypass the OBC?

You can do this, The OBC may also supply the negative side of the solenoid activation circuit as part of it's safety interlock system that disables the cart when you plug the charger in. You may need to resupply this negative side from the battery pack main.
