yes. But on a PD3 there are two different styles. Make sure to identify which style you've got before you buy a replacement. The early PD3 used a square rectifier like the PD2, but in a 50 amp flavor instead of a 35. The newer ones use two heatsink strips with inverted diodes.

Thanks TahoeDawgZ71...Looks like I need to do some homework on these chargers. Brand new to this golf cart thing. Bought a 2010 Precedent, the PD3 charger they sent with it would only click when plug into cart, nothing would happen. Sent me another PD3, it kept pegging the meter and popping the breaker. Sitting here with 2 non working chargers. Borrowed the neighbors PD1 to charge batteries so I assuming it is not the cart. (50.1 volts after 12 hour rest) Another charger on the way. Dealer claims he got a lot of bad chargers with last batch of carts. Is this common with the PD3 charger? Thanks for the help.

Is there another charger you can use on 2010 Precedent with Excel system without removing OBC?

What did the country song say? "I don't like it but things happen that way"! Also my wife is a 1967 UGA graduate.
