Re: New Upgrade need alltrax programing help
There must be some connection that is better when he presses left and worse when he presses right? IF the MCOR works good with one foot position and not the other, I doubt the MCOR is bad.

Re: New Upgrade need alltrax programing help
Jerky throttle is well known and has been discussed in other threads and like DJ said, it is most likely the MCOR. Even though it worked perfect with the stock Curtis controller, the Alltrax does not work with a weak signal. Some have cleaned the connections on the mcor and have fixed the problem as well.
The jerkiness can be reduced by changing the throttle map and throttle up rate as well but that is not addressing the real problem. I do not know what the op is saying about right or left, that is not making any sense to me. The precedent does not have linkage like the old ds models. It is more like a screwdriver attached to the pedal that is also attached to the mcor. As the pedal is pressed the screwdriver turns the mechanism on the mcor, I cant see where there would be a failure there but I would pull the pedal assembly and check it out. |

Re: New Upgrade need alltrax programing help
The only thing I can think of that would make a difference on which side of the pedal you push on having a different affect would be something broken in the MCOR...or the small plastic adapter from the pedal to the MCOR...idk...might need to take it out and have a look.

Re: New Upgrade need alltrax programing help
Or maybe the peddle to the 'driver' connection is worn and is effected by pushing the peddle a little sideways and down?
I dunno, I'm just reading what was posted. |

Re: New Upgrade need alltrax programing help
My money is on the bad MCOR. We just did a bunch of warranty work with mcors that would drop out when the pedal was rocked side to side. Very uncommon. But I've seen it recently more than ever.
