04,

This may not be your problem but 3 months ago I picked up a used 2004 Precedent and I took it all apart. When I was done I reinstalled the controller and everything else. I was ready for a test and all it would do is click. I double checked evrything and it was good. I turned the key on and off and moved the FWD & REV rocker back and forward and then it started working. It's been running great for 2 months. But seriously all it would do is click, it was turned on and in FWD. I have no idea why it didn't work at first.

Good luck.
Steve

Sounds like a bad motor to me.... Has the motor been inspected after the flood?

You said in post #1 that you heard the solenoid click... Unplug the 6 pin connector from the OBC and use a paperclip to jump the red wire to the blue wire on the vehicle wiring side of the plug (not the OBC side) This will completely eliminate the OBC from the circuit. The OBC may be what's keeping it from running.

Is there a special way to program the mcor? I figured just replace everything but the motor and it should work but guess not. bypassed the tow/run switch, bypass the f/r switch nothing. reverse buzzer works when in reverse. brand new batteries checked them separately at almost 8 volts. Combined at almost 50 volts. any ideas?

You've messed up something in the process somewhere, or left a wire off somewhere.... Can you take it to a dealer and have it scanned?
